Yunnan - An Uprising Coffee Origin in the World

Yunnan has been growing coffee for over 100 years, with the rise of its journey producing specialty coffee starting six years ago.

Several ethnic groups live in coffee producing regions and are the main force contributing in coffee cultivation and production.

In season 2020-2021, the total output of coffee production in Yunnan is about 80,000 to 90,000 tons.

Yunnan Coffee is now seeking to transform from commodity-grade trading to specialty-grade production. Improving the production quality will allow farmers and producers to have stronger bargain power and better prices of the coffee they sell.
